These custom front tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame, distributing the camper’s weight evenly and lowering its center of gravity. That means steadier handling on highways, mountain passes, and rough backroads without the sway or push you get from bed-mounted systems. The frame is the strongest part of your truck, so attaching here keeps everything rigid and secure even on long hauls.
When the trip’s over, you can pull the tie-down arms out of their brackets and your truck still looks like itself. The frame-mounted brackets sit flush under the body, nearly invisible when not in use. It’s a small detail that keeps your truck looking clean and uncluttered while letting you set up fast when it’s time to load up again.

These tie-downs bolt into existing holes in the frame, so installation takes minimal effort and no major modifications. Because they’re precisely built for your setup, they sit tight to the frame with little loss of ground clearance. That way you keep your truck’s strength intact while getting a secure mounting point for your camper.
Made from heavy-duty steel with a black powder coat finish, these tie-downs are built to resist corrosion from road salt and weather exposure. The tough coating protects against chips and rust through years of travel, giving you dependable gear that holds up to real-world conditions.
Each tie-down arm has two pin holes so you can extend it for proper clearance around sidewalls or fenders. You can also choose between two anchor points to get the best angle for your turnbuckles (sold separately). That flexibility helps eliminate strain on your camper mounts and keeps everything locked down tight mile after mile.

Excellent product, fits perfectly without modifications. Installed front tie downs in 1.5 hours.
Perfect fit for my 2003 Dodge Ram, and they work perfectly while in use and are barely visible when not in use.
Working with Etrailer has always a been a good experience for me. They are the first place I look when it comes to my towing needs due to their competitive pricing, free shipping, and excellent customer service. I've purchased receiver hitches and towing accessories for my trucks, lights for my camper and parts for my car trailer - If something is back ordered they are good at keeping you up to date with your order status.
Product is exactly as stated. The price, shipping and service were excellent.
They were easy to install and work great
Perfect fit on Ram 3500. They have now traveled across the country and back to MI. A very positive way to secure our truck camper. It never moved
the tiedowns i have been using work great i have and would recomend this product to others
I have purchased several things over the years from E trailer always been good experience. As for these tie downs they came quick in fact just 3 days but to be fair I haven't even taken them out of the box yet.
The front tie downs were almost impossible to install if you followed manufactures instructions.
Great product, easy to install, and I received them as advertised. I kicked in for the 2 day shipping, I ordered them on Monday, got them on Wed. morning, and installed 'em on Thursday. Thanks to the video on etrailer's sight, they were very easy to install. I love it when a company does exactly as advertised. The next time I need anything RV related, etrailer will be my first stop. Thanks etrailer.
I was very surprised to see the package from etrailer on my door step within 2 days ,just what I ordered, thanks for the prompt turnaround on getting my correct tie downs delivered. The return tie downs are on their way back to you. thanks Ron
Installation on the drivers side of my 2005 2500 diesel was not as east as described. The tank is very close, perhaps 1” from the frame rail making it almost impossible to insert the bolt, washers and backing plate through the holes. These items need inserted in order to pull them through the frame. I needed to insert wedges between the tank and frame to make enough room. This concerned me as I did not want to puncture the tank. If I was unsuccessful with the wedges I was just going to use a longer bolt that went through the entire frame rail. I’m not sure if this would have provide the same strength, but it would have provided a solid anchor. I’m sure these will perform, but they are extremely pricy.
2006, Dodge 2 wheel drive, w/ dual rear wheels. This product is fool proof. Installation wasn't too bad (2 1/2 hours for all 4), but I blame my tools, right? Shipped quickly, matter of fact, arrived a day early. No doubt it'll hold our much larger, newer camper VERY securely and give me piece of mind on twisting mountainous roads and desert cross winds. Love them. Thanks etrailer.
Very good customer service and great product ...pretty simple to put on especially the passenger side..the driver side was a little trickier fishing the wire through to the larger hole but with the right needle nose pliers it was easy too...I would definitely recommend them...
The Torklift receiver hitch and system for securing a slide in camper is a great product.
I really like these, they are so much better than ratchet straps for my slide in camper. definitely recommend, easy to use, if you have the right tools, installation is not so bad.
Thank you so much for the well crafted tie downs. I installed 3 of the 4 at a friend's car shop with few problems. Your videos were a help in general understanding with the written directions helping for specifics. The 4th tie down will have to go to an auto shop, as the gas tank is snug against the frame. The star washers were a little weird. The star pattern on the inside ring seemed to be pointed in one direction only and wouldn't bite on one of the bolts. Fortunately, this was a bolt that we could access from the other side to jam to prevent turning (with much trial & error). We chose to use one of our stock lock washers on the next one to prevent that from happening. This would have been tough if it happened on the fished in bolt, we were lucky.
I just received half of my order and the quality looks nice. My problem is with etrailer. I ordered the tie down for my camper from them because the website said they are in stock and that they would be to me in plenty of time to install for my trip. After I recurved my package I realized the order was incomplete and only one half of the tie downs were there. After over an hour of waiting on hold and dealing with customer service I was pretty much told that it was my problem and out of their hands because they arranged for the other tie downs to shop from the manufacturer. Now I find out that the product is out of stock with the manufacturer’s day I won’t receive it for at least 10-14 more days. Which is after my trip that I need these for. And the worst part is that they’ve already charged me for the complete order and left me with no option to correct the problem other than paying an extra $200 dollars for another product and an extra $128 in expedited shipping fees to get it in time. They did off to split the shipping cost with me but customer service manager I spoke to on the phone was rude and condescending and did not offer any viable solutions. I have been a long time customer of etrailer but will not be purchasing from them again because of this. Buyer beware!
Excellent tie downs. Work great on my 2004 3500 Dodge Ram dually..

The tie downs are still working great. I have never had any problems with them !
Robust. Easy to install. Only issue is that when not in use the tie downs rattle due to excessive amounts of play in the mating parts. Perhaps a UHMW shim/sleeve between the male and female mating parts would alleviate the issue. I just ended up removing the male end when not in use. However doing so brings up another problem which is the female end fills up with dirt and mud. To alleviate that problem plastic plugs/caps needed to be purchased. I just install/remove the caps each time the tie downs are used.
These camper tie downs are quality made. Very easy to install. Install time was under two hours. Shipping was fast as always.

Couldnt be happier with these tie downs. A very worthwhile investment with feeling that my camper stays secure to my truck.
Installation was easier than I expected. Fit my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 perfectly.
The drivers rear didn't get built correctly. the hole to put the tie done is missing. I had to drill a hole into the tie down so I could use it. Didn't notice the problem until I went to put the camper on my pickup. The other three are fine.
I think the video showing the install is purposely misleading, it shows the drivers side already installed because they do not want you to know that you have to drop the fuel tank to install it! So yeah it absolutely is not an easy install like they claim! I have a 2009 third gen 2500 dodge and yes you have to drop the tank to install these!
As expected from TorkLift, good product, heavy duty, fast shipping.
